A pump from Winchcombe station was initially called to the fire but quickly requested back up due to the scale of the blaze.

Extra crews from Cheltenham East, Cheltenham West and Gloucester North stations as well as a water carrier from Cheltenham East fire station also attended.

Stubble from cut crops was burning and over 20 firefighters used hose reel and beaters to tackle the blaze.
