IT only seems like yesterday when the last season’s Conference Premier finished and here we are again, about to start another.

Hereford United finished strongly last season to end up in a credible sixth position and, who knows, they could have even made the play-offs if they had put together their run much earlier.

Are the Bulls strong contenders to get promoted this season?

In all honesty, I cannot see it happening.

Martin Foyle is an excellent manager and worked wonders last season on a very limited budget.

But, I think that finances will dictate who will finish where this season, which will mean that Hereford will fall short.

I think that the Bulls will be hard to beat, but I don't see a natural finisher among the squad who will terrify defences and get the 20 goals required to get a team promoted.

Home form will also be key, but let's be honest, Hereford's has been pretty woeful during the past few seasons.

Will it rapidly improve in one season? Probably not.

I do hope that fans will still go to the games and support the team because they do need them more than ever.

Ticket prices are reduced this season, with adult terrace tickets priced at £12, which I think is reasonable compared to other teams in the league.

But I know that fans will only regularly watch the team if they win a lot of games and the football is entertaining to watch. So here's hoping.

So, who do I think will be the promotion contenders this time?

Luton are always tipped to go up, but regularly fail to deliver.

However, I do think that this could well be their season, especially as they have a top manager in John Still at the helm.

I think they could go up through the play-offs, with Grimsby going up automatically.

I was impressed with them last season and they have a very good striker in Liam Hearn who could get the goals that earn them promotion.

Below is how where I think each team will finish.

Do you agree?

1. Grimsby

2. Wrexham

3. Luton (promoted through play-offs).
