ONE of the leading actors of his generation has confirmed he will open a charity tea party in Herefordshire to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Sir Derek Jacobi will launch the Jubilee Tea Party at Broadfield Court, Bodenham, on Monday June 4, which will raise funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and Home-Start Herefordshire.
He will be joined by respected actor and director Richard Clifford.
Both actors are friends and collaborators of Alexandra James, the co-owner of Broadfield Court and a former actress with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Attractions include music from the Remi Harris Trio, a teddy bears’ picnic, a treasure hunt and traditional family games. For further details call Mrs James on 01568 797483.
