A POLICE helicopter was used to search for a Leominster man yesterday following fears for his welfare.
Officers were called to Barons Cross shortly before 8.10am after the man was seen carrying a rope.
A large police presence was visible across the town and close to the Morrisons supermarket.
The man was eventually found safe and well in the town centre at 5pm.
