FIREFIGHTERS spent last night tackling a house fire in Leominster.
Five crews from were called to Hampton Gardens shortly before 7.30pm.
Samantha Jones, fire press officer, said that the house was well alight and residents living in properties either side had to be evacuated.
She added that the blaze was under control within an hour, but the roof insulation had to be removed and firefighters inspected the house throughout the night.
At this stage it is unknown how much damage was caused or what started the fire.
