FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Leominster pub after a live electrical cable was found outside yesterday.

Crews were called to The Black Swan Hotel in Black Swan Walk shortly before 4.50pm.

The area was cordoned off as a precaution and engineers were called to turn off the electrical supply.

Samantha Jones, fire service press officer, said that the cable belonged to Somerfield and firefighters left the scene shortly before 8pm.
