THE public are being asked to help brighten up the grounds of a Herefordshire church.
Leominster charity Caring for God’s Acre are holding a bulb-planting morning at the town’s Priory Church next Saturday (October 4).
With hundreds of bulbs to plant, all help on the day will be welcome. Tools will be provided and volunteers are asked to meet just inside the Priory’s main entrance at 10am.
Project co-ordinator Phi Evans said the team would be planting daffodils and primroses to brighten up the grassland near the church entrance.
The event is part of the charity’s Leominster Project which is supported by Herefordshire Council and Nexus.
