A COUNTY housing association has celebrated fitting a 50th new kitchen in its properties.
Marches Housing Association fitted the room as part of its kitchen and bathroom replacement programme.
The landmark kitchen was installed in the communal rooms at Burton Gardens, Weobley, and is used by surrounding residents to prepare for events and proved invaluable last winter when a power cut left many unable to cook in their own kitchens.
The previous 49 kitchens had been fitted in the homes of Marches residents, who are always consulted on the style, layout and design of the room before work is commenced.
