A LEOMINSTER charity has teamed up with tax experts to give the over 60s some 'top' advice.
Age Concern Leominster and District have teamed up with TOP (Tax help for Older People) to provide free advice to anyone who is over 60 and has a household income of less than £20,000 a year.
Helen Clarke, the charity’s service development manager, said: “Access to clear and relevant information, especially on such a complicated subject as taxation, is a major factor in enabling older people to make important decisions and maintain their independence - not to mention making sure they are not paying out too much money.”
To make an appointment with a tax expert at Age Concern’s West Street office, call TOP on 0845 6013321. For more information on the scheme call Helen Clarke on 01568 611054.
