Ledbury Le Mans Challenge

LE MANS CHALLENGE - A send off by town crier Bill Turberfield and Ledbury mayor Phil Bettington highlighted the Ledbury to Le Mans challenge of the A Team to raise funds to support the Midlands Air Ambulance .

Sharing the driving are John Dobson and son James Dobson and they begin the first leg of their journey in a fully restored 3.3litre four cylinder 1929 Ford Model A Phaeton, owned by John Baillie. Making their way to Portsmouth and taking the ferry to Caen, the team including support vehicle, a BMW X5, driven by Steve Hambling arrived at the famous Le Mans race for the Classis meeting which attracts more than 100,000 enthusiasts from around the globe.
