Ledbury Poetry Festival launches children's poetry festival weekend with leading performance poets

AN exciting workshop day on Friday July 6 launches Ledbury Poetry Festival’s unique Out Loud! weekend festival for children.

Led by Val Bloom, Chrissie Gittins and Andrew Fusek Peters the day offers year 5 and 6 students the enriching experience of hearing varied forms of poetry performed by renowned poets and the opportunity to work with these experienced writers.

At the end of the day, the three poets will present a family performance, featuring exuberant and humorous poems, zingly performances, lots of action and wild and wonderful flilghts of fancy.
