Designer bag made in Herefordshire

A designer handbag made in Herefordshire was in the spotlight at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The bag, from Hergest Handmade Handbags in Kington, was being carried by Royal Horticultural Society president Elizabeth Banks as she escorted the Queen around the show last Monday.

Elizabeth, the RHS’s first female president, lives at Hergest Croft Gardens near Kington.

Designer and bag-maker Elinor Fielder run the local company from a log cabin at the bottom of her Kington garden.
