Famous faces set for Kington Show

The much-anticipated annual Kington Show will take place this weekend.

Thousands are expected to attend the agricultural show on Saturday (Sept 10) where attractions will range from traditional livestock competitions to motorbike stunt shows and a royal visit.

The Duke of Gloucester is the first member of the Royal family to attend the 130-year-old event, believed to be the biggest one-day county show in Herefordshire.

Elsewhere comedians John Thomson and Simon Day, best known for starring in television series The Fast Show, will be on site to film No County of Old Men, a new programme for the History Channel.

The show, held at Ovals Farm in Kington, runs from 9am-6pm.

Entry is £10 for adults, £5 for children aged 10-16, and free for under 10s.
