HOUSING developers are seeking unwanted soccer kits from Herefordshire football fans in aid of a good cause.
Anyone with a strip surplus to requirements can drop it in to local Taylor Wimpey sites including Shobdon Oaks and Morgans Orchard in Kington.
Regional sales director Anne Wallace said: “England is in the midst of football fever but with all the hype surrounding the World Cup it’s easy to forget the poverty facing thousands of adults and children in South Africa, which is why we’ve chosen to support KitAid.
“I’m sure most football fans will have a spare shirt hidden away in their wardrobe, so why not do your bit, dig it out and bring it down?”
Any shirts, boots, goalie gloves or shin pads are welcome for children and adults.
For more information call Shobdon Oaks on 0845 672 4035, Morgans Orchard on 0845 672 4040 or visit www.taylorwimpey.co.uk /midlands
