ONE of Kington’s best known sporting events has a new start time this weekend thanks to the impending arrival of another.

The town’s annual wheelbarrow race has been moved to 5.30pm this Saturday as the FIFA World Cup kicks off around the same time as Kington Festival.

Registration starts at 5pm and the High Street will also be closed from Church Street to Bridge Street until 8pm.
