AN action day to tackle anti-social behaviour and help keep Knighton’s streets safe will take place this month.
Dyfed Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Keep Wales Tidy and other groups will be at the community centre from 2pm onwards on March 23 to meet residents and answer questions.
The Powys Community Safety Partnership (CSP) organised the event to highlight various activities available in the area, alongside crime tackling strategies currently in place.
Chairman councillor Graham Brown said: “This action day will give residents a chance to make a real difference in their local community and they will be able to get advice and guidance from partners involved in the CSP.”
