Pensioner hurt in town centre

AN elderly lady was treated for bruising after a 4x4 knocked her over in Kington last Friday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a grey Land Rover Freelander allegedly reversed into the woman as she tried to cross the road in Bridge Street from behind it at 1.45pm.
It is thought the driver spoke with the lady briefly before leaving.
