ORGANISERS behind a country fete are hoping for better weather than last year.
The county was just recovering from one of the biggest summer downpours in living memory when the 53rd Huntington Fete was held last July.
This year promises the same magic mix of traditional summer games, bric-a-brac stalls and strawberry and ice cream within the grounds of Huntington Court, near Kington.
Admission is free and the party will begin at 3pm on Saturday, July 19.
A bus will be leaving the Mill Street car park in Kington at 2.30pm and returning from the fete at 5pm.
