KINGTON parish is to get weekly newsletters from police in the area.
The town’s Rural Policing Team will keep Kington Rural Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators, parish councillors and parish magazine editors informed by email and update them on local crime-related issues.
Herefordshire MP Bill Wiggin voiced his support for the scheme saying:“Unfortunately, there are a minority in our society that seek to cause problems and do not show respect to other people and their property."
“However, I am confident that the newsletter will prove to be another useful tool in the fight against crime, encourage more people to report anti-social incidents and help us to all work together to make our streets safer and a better place to live,” he said.
