Kington market will continue in 2013

THE new market in Kington is proving so successful it will continue into 2013.
Bernard Ray, chairman of the town’s Chamber of Trade, said putting a regular Saturday market back in the town centre for the first time in around 15 years had boosted Kington’s weekend trade.
The market, which was reintroduced in September, gives budding local businesses, artisans and craftspeople a chance to sell their wares.
There will be further markets this month on Saturday and December 22 before a break until February.
