Hereford United striker leaves and Bulls chairman says club could go part-time

Hereford United's Sean Canham has joined Bath City on loan.

The Bulls website confirmed that the striker, who was handed a new short-term deal at Edgar Street this summer, has returned to the club where he spent part of last season on loan.

Canham began this season well, scoring three times in the opening four games, but has seen his playing time restricted with the return of Marlon Jackson and Ryan Bowman.

Meanwhile, Hereford United chairman David Keyte has said that the Bulls could be going part-time if the club's financial fortunes do not turn around.

He told a radio station this morning that the club are losing £9,000 at every home game after attendances dropped below 2,000.

A VAT bill of £45,000 has only added to the financial pressures at the club.
