Eye awareness week event in Hereford

INFORMATION and advice will be given out to shoppers in Hereford next Wednesday as part of eye awareness week.

Members from Herefordshire Vision Links (HVL), the county's association for the blind and partially-sighted, will be in High Town from 9.30am to 3pm to explain just what opportunities are on offer for people with sight loss in the county.

John Eden, recently appointed as Chief Executive of HVL said: “Eye awareness week is a key opportunity for Vision Links and partner organisations to raise awareness of sight loss and the impact upon daily living.

“We hope to introduce the organisation to new enquirers and for new users to experience the high quality information, advice and support on offer.”
