BBC Radio 1 star Chris Moyles could appear at Play Nightclub

BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles could be coming to Hereford next week following his last-ever breakfast show.

Play Nightclub has confirmed that it will be hosting the afterparty on Friday, September 14, and is hopeful that the self-proclaimed “saviour of Radio 1” will make an appearance.

“We have got Comedy Dave booked and we have been asked if we have a private area for the team, which we have,” said Play general manager Dan Guerche.

“We have also been asked for six hotel rooms on the night and to provide a Grand Voyager to transport them from London to Hereford.

“I can’t confirm that Chris Moyles is coming, but it looks likely.” The Chris Moyles Show began in 2004 and went on to become Radio 1’s longest-running breakfast show.

However, in July it was announced that the 38-year-old would be leaving and would be replaced by Nick Grimshaw.

Dave Vitty has worked with Chris for longer than any other team member and is currently the show’s “director of comedy”.

I tell you what, Hereford ain't half becoming a celebrity magnet! What with Liz and Shane buying sausage rolls in Ledbury and now Chris Moyles coming in a Grand Voyager. Or maybe he isn't. No wait, maybe he is. Oh sorry, now he's not. Actually, we don't really know. Great non-news again.

This is the boost we all need. It's a load of worry off as far as I'm concerned.
We got no jobs, no shops, no lift to Garrick House cos its under repair, the Muslim people want a mosque and we don't want them to have one and everything else is in the hands of our Council who keep things secret from us.
This news is just what I wanted. I'm now going to swallow another diazepam, read Jordan's third biography and then jump from the Town Hall into St.Owen Street and with Gods grace and favour some bus will flatten me before a passing do gooder gives me the kiss of life, saves my worthless soul and condemns me to a life in care being spoon fed pea and ham soup.
I blame the Council. I know I shouldn't but I do.

Oh my goodness... Where is my tent and sleeping bag? When I've finished queueing up for Vacuum bags at Rockfield, I'm staking my place outside Play!
I can't wait to find out whether Chris Moyles may visit Play in a Grand Voyager... Sorry, can't keep up the enthusiasm... Big who cares?
