Shropshire murder investigation - Ceri Fuller's Hereford-based father pays tribute

THE Hereford-based father of a man who killed his three children then himself has paid tribute to his son.

Ceri Fuller is believed to have stabbed to death his children Sam, Rebecca and Charlie, before taking his own life by jumping off a 65ft quarry at Pontesbury Hill, near Shrewsbury.

"Ceri was a gentle, sensitive and intelligent man but also a very private one," said his father David Fuller, who lives in Hereford.

"He loved his children dearly and they were such a focal point of his life.

"His relationship with each one of them was one of gentleness, involvement and attentive nurturing.

"Sam, Rebecca and Charlie were such charming individuals, brought up in an environment of love.

"We cannot begin to imagine what was going through the mind of this gentle man to drive him to such tragic actions.

"We would ask all to respect our privacy at this time while we try to come to terms with this terrible loss."

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw Ceri Fuller's red Land Rover Freelander estate, registration CK51 YUV, which was seen in Leominster at around midday on Thursday after leaving the family home in Gloucestershire.

It is understood that the Fullers left Leominster towards Welshpool later that day.

Anyone with information can call police on 0300 333 3000 or 101.
