Hereford school choir closes in on BBC prize

A SCHOOL choir from Hereford is one step closer to scooping a national prize.
Hereford Cathedral School’s Cantabile Girls Choir are into the semi-finals of the BBC’s Songs of Praise Choir of the Year competition.
They will travel up to Manchester this Sunday for the next stage with their performance being recorded by the BBC.
Just six choirs out of a total 130 entrants have made it this far.
The winning choir will perform on Songs of Praise and at the Royal Albert Hall in London over Christmas.
