THE boss of a pub affected by this morning’s fire says the damage is not as bad as has been reported.
Becky Nolan said fire damage at the Booth Hall was kept to a minimum thanks to the quick response of the emergency services.
“Some reports have said the Booth was devastated but this isn’t true,” said Becky.
“We have been told we are not allowed back in until after the weekend but I’m hopeful we’ll be back open within a week or two.”
