A MAN has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a man got stabbed in Hereford at the weekend.
Ashley Preece, aged 20, of no fixed abode in Hereford, was up before Hereford magistrates this morning.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Worcester Crown Court on October 4.
Three other men, aged 22, 26 and 28, who were arrested in connection to the incident, have been released on bail for eight weeks pending further forensic investigations.
The victim, Jack Hewitt, who is in his early 20s, remains in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed near Manhattans night club at 3.50am on Saturday.
