TWO wards at Hereford County Hospital have been closed to patient admissions due to an outbreak of norovirus.
Visiting restrictions are in place to prevent the further spread of diarrhoea and vomiting affecting some patients, says a statement from Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust.
Visiting is restricted to one visitor per patient during visitors hours.
The hospital is appealing to visitors with diarrhoea and/or vomiting do not visit until they have been free of symptoms for 48 hours.
