Clothing on cooker catches fire

A WASHING basket left on a gas hob caused a kitchen fire in south Hereford yesterday.
Firefighters were called to Hoarwithy Road at 5.50pm to find the fire had already been extinguished.
Clothing in the basket had caught fire and no-one had been hurt.
