Bridge nap sparks alert

DRIFTING off to sleep by the river may sound idyllic but one man caused a stir by doing just that.
He was found catching 40 winks on the Victoria Street bridge in Hereford - one of the busiest roads into the city - during the morning rush-hour.
Emergency service crews attended this morning at around 8am after hearing reports of an unconscious man lying on the bridge.
Pete Butcher, for the police, said the man told paramedics he was “just having a little nap” and walked home.
