FORMER Manchester United star Andrew Cole was among the guests helping a former SAS soldier celebrate his 60th birthday in Hereford.
Ned Kelly invited friends and family to the Castle House on Saturday night and the former England striker was one of many to attend.
Mr Kelly worked with Cole when he left the SAS to become the head of security at Old Trafford in the 1990s. It proved to be a busy time for the former soldier who also looked after David Beckham and Eric Cantona.
There was a strong football link throughout the birthday celebrations with Hereford United legend Phil Stant also making an appearance.
And Mr Kelly managed a Fownhope veterans team earlier in the day during a match against army veterans.
