A HEREFORD company producing coffee filters for customers around the world is to quit the city, leaving workers redundant.

Thomas & Green has been making coffee filter papers and food absorbent packaging at its Rotherwas base for two years but has decided to re-locate its manufacturing process because of the strength of the euro against sterling.

The move, expected at the end of the month, will affect around 40 staff, who have been given the option to move to other premises in the UK and Europe.

Once again another reputable company has to leave because of costs.
How many companies or shops have had to either moved on or close in the last twelve months, is Hereford really going to succeed with it's grid project??? with businessess closing down as they are will there be any left to fill this project

Once again, somebody blames a business closure on the Edgar Street Grid, which isn't even bloomin' built yet!

Wake up! It's the economy stupid!
