Police find body

POLICE searching for a missing person from Hereford have discovered a body in woodland.
The discovery was made at around 4pm this afternoon in the Fownhope/Woolhope area by officers involved in a search for Mrs Christine Simpson.
Mrs Simpson, aged 60, was reported missing from her home in Hereford on Saturday evening.
But police press officer Neil Tipton said formal identification has yet to be carried out so police cannot confirm that the body is that of Mrs Simpson.
However, her family has been kept informed of the developments, he said.
Police are treating the death as unexplained and the Herefordshire Coroner has been informed.
