Hay-on-Wye picnic cancelled

The Hay-on-Wye picnic planned for this weekend has been cancelled due to bad weather.

Julia Roberts, of organisers Fairtrade Hay, said: "Due to the awful weather and damp grounds we've decided to postpone the Hay Picnic and Play Day, which was meant to be this Sunday (July 8) at Hayfield Gardens, to Sunday, September 9.

"Same times, 12pm-4.30pm, same place, Hayfield Gardens, and same events. Hope to see some of you then."
