Update: Armed police in Hay-on-Wye

A man has been arrested during an operation involving armed Police in Hay-on-Wye.
Officers were called to the junction of Belmont Road and Carlesgate this morning.
A spokesman for Dyfed Powys Police said: "A 32-year-old local male has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill following an incident in the South Wales Police force area.
"Inquiries are ongoing."
It is understood that officers from South Wales Police, West Mercia Police and Dyfed Powys Police were involved in the operation.
