Elections are underway across Powys
Voters will make themselves heard when they head to the polls in Hay-on-Wye, Presteigne and Knighton today.
It will be a closely run race in the book town of Hay where there are 17 candidates standing for 11 places on the town council – nine of whom have never stood before.
Local elections are also taking place in Glasbury, Presteigne and Norton, Knighton, New Radnor, and Clyro.
There are 73 seats on Powys County Council to be filled.
