CLYRO-based Oliver Balch is a freelance journalist specialising in business and world affairs, and he will be talking about his new book India Rising: Tales from a Changing Nation, at Booth’s Bookshop in Hay-on-Wye on Friday, May 10, at 7pm.
Balch, whose work has appeared in a wide range of international publications, takes the voices and stories of everyday Indians and presents a fresh and vivid account of the changes as they are unfolding.
Travelling the length and breadth of the country, he leads readers off the tourist trail and onto the streets of modern day India.
