YOUNGSTERS from Hay-on-Wye are getting ready to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee in spectacular style.
People from across Powys have been invited to mark the Queen’s milestone anniversary at Glanusk Park, near Crickhowell, seat of the Lord-Lieutenant for Powys, the Hon Mrs Shan Legge-Bourke. Some 10,000 people are expected to attend and choir from county schools, including Gwernyfed High, will perform live at the event.
Diamonds in the Park will take place on Friday, April 27.
