A GOLDEN Valley community faces a long wait before its pub re-opens.
The Bridge Inn in Michaelchurch Escley has been temporarily closed after the building was damaged by flash floods.
Heavy rainfall earlier this month caused the Escley Brook to burst its banks in the village.
Owners say the resulting damage means the pub could be closed for six months, while insurance issues could further delays.
