A HISTORIC 16th century coaching inn on the Hereford to Brecon road has been put up for sale.
The Portway Inn and Hotel has been put on the market by owner Ron Stewart, who bought it four years ago, so he can find a smaller business to run before he retires.
The £725,000 property, which lies on the A438 near Staunton-on-Wye, includes a bar, dining room, en-suite accommodation and a two-bed cottage for potential buyers to live in.
It also as a large garden which was used by previous owner Susan Bagnall for keeping horses in.
