Pupils are top in TV competition

STUDENTS near Hay-on-Wye have been selected to produce a special edition of TV’s Question Time in a national competition.
Pupils from Gwernyfed High School won the privilege after holding their own Question Time event as one of 12 nationwide finalists in the BBC competition.
The school was one of four winners selected by judges who watched students at the Three Cocks school grill a panel that included Brecon and Radnorshire AM Kirsty Williams and Hay Festival founder Peter Florence.
