A GOLDEN Valley school has taken a continental approach to teaching.
Staff and pupils at Kingstone High School and Language College have just enjoyed a European theme day.
Lessons took an international air as pupils tried their hand at folk singing, painting murals and even Gaelic sports.
Final year students brushed-up on their French, while others used a Blue Peter approach to make models of the Eiffel Tower.
The event tied-in with the school’s ethos of providing a broad education in an international context.
It follows a number of theme days, which focused on Japan, Spanish-speaking countries and Eastern Europe.
