VOLUNTEERS are being sought for a series of challenging walks across the Black Mountains to raise money for Longtown Mountain Rescue team.
The Big Black Mountains Challenge consists of 12, 18 and 32-mile routes beginning and ending in Llanthony, and has run annually for more than 20 years.
Around 700 walkers are expected to take part in the event on May 17.
Anyone taking part must visit www.longtownmrt.org.uk or send a stamped addressed envelope to Big Black Mountains Challenge, Longtown Mountain Rescue team, PO Box 120, NP7 7WU and register beforehand.
