Transport charity's funding boost

A GOLDEN Valley transport charity is driving forward thanks to funding from Herefordshire Council.
Dore Community Transport has received £800 towards computer equipment to benefit the charity’s new transport co-ordinator.
The co-ordinator will be responsible for fielding phone calls and planning drivers’ schedules to provide residents unable to use public transport, for reasons such as disability or cost, with travel when they need it.
