BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with allegations of fare evasion.

The investigation relates to a male passenger who did not have a ticket when he arrived at Hereford rail station from Leominster in July.

When he was challenged by staff, he jumped the barriers and fled the station.

Anyone with information can call BTP on 0800 405040, quoting reference B7/WWA of 17/09/2012.

Just wonder why it's taken so long for the BTP to make an appeal to the general public. The alleged offence happened in July
