Search for missing nine-year-old boy

POLICE are currently searching for a missing nine-year-old boy near Symonds Yat.

The youngster was playing with three girls near cabins at Bracelands Drive, Christchurch, but was lost from sight at about 11.40am this morning.

He is of mixed race, 4ft 5ins tall, has short brown hair and is wearing denim shorts with a rip in one of the legs, wellington boots and a yellow/grey striped jumper with hood.

If you see the boy, please call police immediately on 101.
