EMERGENCY services were called to a number of accidents in the county over the weekend.
Four people were taken to hospital following a crash on the A49 near Hereford yesterday.
A man and a woman, believed to be in their 30s, were trapped for a short time and had to be released by firefighters following the two car collision that happened at Grafton shortly before 2.45pm.
They sustained chest injuries and were taken to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
A man and a woman in their 20s, who were in the other car, were treated for arm and rib injuries and were also taken to hospital.
A sustained a broken arm following a crash on the A438 in Ledbury at 9.20am yesterday morning, while a man had minor head and arm injuries after his car rolled onto its side on the A4112 at Eardisley shortly before 11.10pm last night.
A car also ended up in a hedge in Symonds Yat at 9.45pm.
Two cars overturned in separate accidents on Saturday on the A4113 in Leintardine and the A44 at Bredenbury at 3.45pm and 6.20pm respectively, while two vehicles collided on the A417 in Ledbury at 6.25pm the same night.
Emergency services also had to deal with a crash at Dolyhir, near Presteigne, at 8.40pm on Friday.
