I M P R O V E M E N T S allowing disabled access at Leominster railway station should be made as soon as possible, according to the town’s MP.
Bill Wiggin will be at the station tomorrow (Friday) to meet Network Rail bosses following concerns over delays to improvement works.
Mr Wiggin has recently held talks with the Department for Transport, Network Rail and operator Arriva Trains Wales over the matter.
“We have all fought very hard to get the commitment and funding to improve access at Leominster station to support disabled commuters,”
he said.
“I hope that after coming to Leominster station this week, Network Rail will see how important and necessary these works are and will do all it can to improve access.”
