AN afternoon of love poetry, music and song is on offer in the romantic setting of Herefordshire’s historic Broadfield Court on Valentine’s Day.

The event includes lunch accompanied by pianist Frank Ryding and Broadfield Court’s co-owner Alexandra James, a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Both Mr Ryding and Mrs James are part of a recital group along with actor Sir Derek Jacobi which regularly performs in Herefordshire, Shropshire and beyond.

The event will begin with a glass of pink champagne, which will be followed by a traditional Sunday lunch and a “surprise pink pudding”.

The meal costs £20 per person.
