TRAINEE police officers have hit the beat on a village estate in a bid to combat anti-social behaviour.
Officers met Credenhill residents and Kemble Housing staff on a tour of a housing development.
Trainees heard that antisocial behaviour was a daily occurrence, and learned about incidents that officers dealt with.
Student officer Henry King- Salter, who is training in Worcester, said the joint initiative was an interesting exercise.
“One of the main reasons for these types of placement is that we can build up relationships,”
said the 25-year-old.
“If I need to work with Kemble Housing in a professional capacity, it will be nice to know some of their staff.”
